Pflaumenkuchen!

Last week for some weird reason I had a dreamt that I baked a Pflaumenkuchen before bed.I woke up all excited running to the kitchen looking for the imaginary plum cake. The only thing I found was disappointment, and a bare fridge staring back at me.

last night, I decided to make a dream come true.

Finally, German plum cake with a side of yoghurt for breakfast

96 hours

Baked some cookies and muffin top's to give away.  Oh! You can't say you've lived until trying at least one or two muffin top ice cream sandwich.

Some whoop whoop love for JKL's house warming. Was feeling a bit under the weather yesterday, I ended up falling asleep and did not make it. Whanau working in store scored some today :)

plan for no plans

The past two weeks has been rather intense with the juggling of family visits, house shifting, office move and at the same time work. I'm trying to pace my day a little slower today. I woke up at about 9.40am this morning. So far I've made breakfast, done the laundry and dishes.

Now I'm just mulling over what to do next.I'm thinking a bake sesh later on today :)

Checkboard lead cake

Today is my dearest uncle Peter's 60th. To celebrate I decided to bake him vanilla chocolate check sponge with a strawberry buttercream frosting.
